What would you do with an unlimited supply of Legos? I would build a lego tree fort. There would be a spiral stair case wrapping around the base of the tree, leading up to a loft in the canopy. A rope swing would be my means of travel between branches.
What is your favorite part about being on the Educo team?I love the atmosphere of Educo. Everyone embraces the "team" mindset and is always willing to lend a hand. We work together to fulfill our goal, which is to provide an awesome experience for the kids coming to camp!
College? I have a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. I'm also a NOLS grad (National Outdoor Leadership School)!
What is your proudest moment?I felt very proud after successfully leading our group on an especially challenging day of the sea kayaking section of my NOLS course. We woke up to stormy seas and the whole day demanded careful monitoring of weather conditions. We had to wait out some rough currents on an island for a couple of hours before making a long open-water crossing. It ended up being a very long travel day, but my co-leaders and I made sure to keep the group spirit high with support and motivation.
What's next for you? After just graduating from college, I'm ready to have some adventures! I want to travel and explore as much as possible in the next year or so.
