CAUTION: The rest of your summer (and possibly the year) will pale in comparison to this trifecta of adventure, challenge and fun. White water rafting, backpacking and climbing in southern Colorado sets the bar high and all other experience will not live up to this trip.
This is the perfect trip if you want a taste of everything in your summer adventure. Rock climb, hike and kayak some of the best Colorado has to offer from Red Feather Lakes to Buena Vista, CO. We spend the evenings telling stories and laughing around a campfire, having fun, eating s'mores and making new friends. We couldn't fit any more fun into 8 days if we tried. We know this because we tried.
Day One: Meet at our Blue Moon Mountain Ranch Base in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Roll out your sleeping bag and meet new friends as we BBQ around the campfire.
Day Two and Three: Hike and rock climb the best of Red Feather Lakes as you get to know new friends and reconnect with old. Enjoy the best stars northern Colorado has to offer!
Day Four: Try your hand at kayaks on open water as you and your team take on the kayak game challenge. Head south to Buena Vista later in the day for the next stage of your adventure.
Day Five and Six: Climb a fourteener, white water raft the Arkansas and camp next to the river amongst perhaps the prettiest mountain range Colorado has to offer. Celebrate your accomplishments around the campfire as you listen to your instructors tell stories.
Day Seven and Eight: Don't get tired yet! We are headed back to base for more adventure. We have one final rappel to try your hand at! Parent pickup at Blue Moon Mountain Ranch.
