This is NOT your ordinary Summer Camp!
It's summer camp the way it was meant to be! It's hot dogs around a fire, overnights under the stars, creek exploration, primitive shelter building, climbing and more. It's an intentionally primitive camp 45 min. from Fort Collins; an off-the grid, pristine playground where kids can discover both the natural world and their own innate skills and confidences. It's a haven for imagination and possibility, a venue for developing friendships. It's a supportive environment for kids to challenge themselves and expand their comfort zones. Educo Adventure Camp is an experience that allows kids to become leaders, to support each other, make decisions and take ownership over their experience. Our seasoned camp leaders don't just escort kids from one activity to the next, they create teachable moments using the natural environment. They empower kids to learn, grow and have ridiculous amounts of fun! And NEW for 2010-MOUNTAIN BOARDING!!!

Day One: Meet at our Blue Moon Mountain Ranch Base in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Get settled into your tent and get to know new friends around the campfire with stories and skits.

Day Two: Today you'll explore in the morning and rock climb in the afternoon with the support of your new friends. With the help of your instructors build primitive shelters with your group to spend your second night under the stars!

Day Three: Hit the trail and summit one of our local peaks. You can't beat the view! Celebrate your accomplishment back at base with s'mores around the campfire.

Days Four: Early mroning sunrise and breakfast from the top the days adventure - a rappel!

Day Five: Get ready to strap your sleeping bag onto your daypack! Follow the map to our secret overnight spot. Spend the afternoon making backcountry pizzas on the final campfire.

Day Six: Return from your overnight with stories to tell and new friends to write. Parent pickup at Blue Moon Mountain Ranch.
